Cooking Adventures

What is France best known for? The reveloution 1789? Soccer/Football? Napoleon?

No, of course it is for their art of cooking!

However, even if we have found hamburger and pizza joints, it is the interest fro traditional and new cooking that dominates the kitchens in France!

We will arrange 2 adventures during Spring of 2008 for those that are interested.

Course 1: 13 - 17 of March; Fully booked!

Course 2: 24-28 of April ; completed with success

Course 3: July 31- Aug. 4th

The Cooking will be conducted by you as a participant, and for sure it will be an adventure as there are a mix of background, nationality, experiences etc. You will be in charge of planning at least 1 Dinner and doing the shoping, cooking and serving. Of course you can use our well-known Chefs from Sweden, France and Schwitzerland for help!

We are appealing to those that are active and participate in the "family"cooking led by the Chefs.

The courses will conduct 3 community Dinners in 3 days and maximum 9 participants are allowed.

You have to arrive before the end of Day 1 (as per above dates) and on the second day you will after breakfast travel to the local food market in Beziérs or any other  local market nearby, in order to buy the ingredients for the Dinners.

Day 3 will be the same but another Cooking Team in charge and it starts with shoping

Day 4 have same timeschedule; breakfast, shoping for the Team in charge of Dinner day 4,  leisure time and at 16.00 Cooking! Your leisure time can be spent the way you like it; please check "Tourism" and hopefully our pool will be hot enough for a swim!

Day 5 is your departure but you can of course stay as a guest at Chez Sven if you like.

The price we charge för each participant is 495 Euros for single bed in double room, or 695 Euros if you like to stay as a single

In this price is 4 nights, 4 breakfasts and 3 dinners included also with wine if you like.

Payment has to be made at the latest 1 week prior to start and by credit card.

If yoy like any of the activities we have, we like to know in advance and at payment so we can plan them. The activities are charged for immediately when you perform them.

HOW TO TRAVEL.

Ryanair flies to Girona (near Barcelona and 190 km from Chez Sven, Causses et Veyran), Marseille (230 km) and via London to Montpellier (90 km from us).

The latest airport is the closest international airport with airlines like Air France and others....

For maximum liberty during your stay here we suggest a rentalcar at the airport.
